Many specifics will not write, because I have already made the remark (probably technically correctly) that the topic of Meyssenovskie vases did not put a question mark after the word " Meyssenovskie " although I myself felt as if my own doubts very obvious ...

Thing is guaranteed - the old . As far as I can trust their own visual sensibilities , is made not later than mid- 19th century.
Specific PROTOTYPE detect failed.

Thing belongs to me. Accordingly, as I usually have in these cases is found to provide valuable (especially to value ) information prepared on a reasonable basis to invite the co-owners .

I'm certainly not an expert, I do not know about you accidentally Messerschmidt mentioned or not, but very similar to Franz Xaver Messerschmidt
February 6, 1736, Vizenshtayg - August 19, 1783, Bratislava
Born in Swabia, grew up in Munich in the house of his uncle, the sculptor Johann Baptist Straub. Learned from him, and then another uncle, also a sculptor, Philipp Jakob Straub in Graz. C 1755 student of the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied under Jacob Schletterer. After graduating classes at the Academy, Messerschmidt was in Vienna, carrying out orders of the imperial household - some of these statues, executed in the Baroque style, survived. The turning point in the work of Messerschmidt comes around in 1769 - partly under the influence of perfect little earlier trip to Rome. Sculptor early 1770s. tend to classicism - known, in particular, the bust of Franz Anton Mesmer, clearly inspired by the impressions of the busts of Roman emperors. At the same time Messerschmidt began to create their so-called "characteristic of the head" (German Charakterkopfe) - busts a very bizarre, distorted, convulsive gestures. Apparently, this series of works associated with the development of the Messerschmidt mental illness, hallucinations. Messerschmidt's disease has led to the fact that he was fired from the faculty of the Vienna Academy, and then could not find a permanent job and spent the last six years of his life in Bratislava with his brother (and also the sculptor) Johann Adam Messerschmidt. However, it is "characteristic of the head," and were, in the end, the most remarkable part of the creative heritage of Messerschmidt.
