About the artist:

Born in with. Garni , Armenia. In the early 1940s, he studied at the Yerevan XY , in 1945 - 1951 - Yerevan Institute of Fine Arts at Saryan . In 1953 he moved to Moscow , on the recommendation of the teacher was a leading painter in the section of monumental painting with CP of the USSR. In 1957 he went to Birobidzhan (Far East ), taught at a local XY. In 1958 he settled in Makhachkala, he taught painting, drawing and composition at the undergraduate Makhachkala XY them. M. Jemal . Since the early 1960s he lived and worked in Odessa. In 1964 became the founder and dean (1965 - 1968) art-graphic faculty of the Odessa Institute of Education, where he worked for over 20 years. His pupils were S. Lykov , V. Ryabchenko Roitburd A. , V. Pokidanets and other famous artists.
