Yes indeed, I replied to you about this work 30. 01. 2013goda . I assume that the author of this seascape is an artist Kucherenko . The artist, although declared as a disciple of Aivazovsky certainly was not. From a very detailed biography of lifetime Aivazovsky that he had not had a student and the school would be immediately apparent without any evidence . A certain Dmitry from Moscow offered for sale is very similar to your picture 's Kucherenko . Like yours, signed by the name of Aivazovsky , although he Dmitri confidently declares that the picture painted by Kucherenko and calls them family . What does he mean one can only assume - maybe he is a relative of Kucherenko . Having considered in detail the proposed illustrations and original signature Aivazovsky , I think you will agree that you have shown and the work was painted by Kucherenko .
