This term is applied to various fields of abstract and zhestualnogo art that emerged in Paris in 1945-1960 gg.
Artists use this trend occurring by chance effects (patches, etc.), they deny the importance of design, technical skill, and in general the traditional concept of art, which cultivates the idea of the finished product, which the artist creates with the help of preliminary studies and sketches. They are characterized by: the spontaneity of gesture, expressive use of materials, failure of reproducing the object in favor of the expression of the plot, that is the artist himself.
