Distinguished Professor of the Academy of Arts, has left its mark in the history of Russian art.
He was born in 1776 in the Kalmyk steppe, five year old boy was in Moscow.
He studied at the Moscow educational house.
In 1782 was sent to study at the Academy of Arts. During training Egorov received several medals, and in 1796 he was awarded a distinction mark "for success and good behavior."

Egorov worked on illustrations.
It is known that he painted 100 graphic pages to the collected works of Gabriel Derzhavin.
His skill Egorov gave to his disciples, FA Bruni, KP Briullov, MI Scotty, AA Ivanov.
Yegorov took part in writing the images for the iconostasis of the Kazan Cathedral in St. Petersburg.
