Andrew Savich
Born in 1974 in Dzerzhinsk, Belarus. Graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. Member of the Belarusian Union of Artistssince 2000.
As a pro-active artist was on study placement in Austria, France, the Netherlands and Sweden, participated in numerous exhibitions in Belarus and abroad since 1994 and was recognized for his artistic talent with a number of awards and diplomas.
Andrew explores his talent in various fields of fine art such as painting, graphics, sculpture, photography, creation of books. Good education and extraordinary experience moulded his personal artistic manner and made him stand out in the modern Belarusian art community.
Andrew’s paintings represent the essence of abstract expressionism as a recognized trend in modern art, based on the traditions of “classical” abstract expressionism of the mid XX century and re-thought in the light of the change of the modern world. The artist explores his interest in forms, makes transformations into different substances and attaches individuality, revealing a new creation in its form and content.
The artist lives and works in Minsk.
