He studied at the Kiev Art School (1915-1918) , in 1920 at the Academy of Fine Arts in NI Altman , AT Matveeva , from 1921 to 1925. - In VKhUTEMAS in AD Drevin , NA Udaltsova , LS Popova, AV Shevchenko. During the civil war he worked as an artist in the Political Administration of the Western Front. Exhibitions since 1918 and was a member of the exhibitor AHRR art associations (1925-1928) , growth ( 1929-1930) , "Group 13" ( 1929-1931) . Regularly exhibited at the All-Union exhibitions. In 1919, he taught at the studio Proletkult in Smolensk, in the period from 1918 to 1926 . participated in the design of urban festivals. Many traveled to the Soviet Union, in Uzbekistan. The main topic of creativity is the urban landscape. His works are in the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum .
