Please help us to define and evaluate the author's picture

Hello,
distinguished experts, help, пожайлуста, identify and evaluate the author's picture. The painting was purchased at the beginning of the 30th years.
Oil on canvas, 73 X 46. The picture is not signed, but the reverse side of the frame is the inscription (see пожайлуста on photo)
Thank you in advance!

annacz,
If the reasoning is logical, then the name of the artist (judging by the signature on a stretcher) can be Sorokin. In the Single Top 30 Sorokin and three Sorokina. Of these, six may be the authors of this work (based on years of life, and your information on the age of work). Three do not fit right, not like a signature.

SergeiSK, thanks for the information, you do not know what could be the cost of painting?

SergeiSK 07.02.2009 21:12

annacz,
To me your picture is lovely, but to evaluate it as a painting by an unknown artist did not want to. You understand that the price will then be small. Must still try to determine authorship.

SergeiSK, thanks, but if you know how to do it ....

SergeiSK, You're right, good painting ..

SergeiSK is strange to hear from you.
If it is logical, it is highly unlikely that the artist will put their signature on the reverse side of the frame.
The frame can sign holder picture
or there is the original author's name, if it is a copy ..

I saw that the signature is on a stretcher, the author of this painting could easily sign up on a stretcher.: Cool:

Well, there are artists where only the signature is not put.
And on the back-on canvas, cardboard, and on a stretcher, but two or three times.
The frame-put on the back of course ...

Well, first of all not on the frame, but on a stretcher. And secondly plenty of examples where the painters were painting at:

A previous owner probably would not have simply signed "Forty ...", and probably completely written his name, and size of equipment added, although this is not a fact. I have very few of these pictures with captions on a stretcher, in particular BN Yakovlev, Olga Malyutina, D. Shiryaev.
The question now in another - if it is a copy, then with whom?
