Pochitalov Vasily (1903, Uglich , 1973, Moscow). Honored Art . In 1930 he graduated in the class VHUTEIN easel painting with AV Shevchenko. Since 1928 - the constant participant of Moscow , republican and all-Union art exhibitions. Since 1936 - a member of the Moscow branch of the Union of Soviet Artists. From 1936 to 1948. - Associate Professor of painting and composition of the Moscow State Institute of Art , Assistant Professor of painting and composition at the Moscow Art School . VV Pochitalov was an outstanding teacher , he studied: VF Stazharau , VI Ivanov , PP Ossowski, AA Tutunov , IV Sorokin , AP Tkachev , EG Bragovsky etc. Since 1948 - Associate Professor of Painting and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts in Moscow Textile Institute. His works are in the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum and many regional museums.
