Selling painting by Karl Fedorovich Gun (Карл Федорович ГУН) called HAPPY MOTHER, oil on canvas 55 x 78 cm .The painting has Grabar Institute certificate , and it is published in his monograph book .

Gun fairly counted among the best painters of the Russian school.Gun work is highly valued and the court, and almost all of those interested in painting imperial estates. They could be found in the imperial apartments, and in the private collection of Prince Orlov, but also at the exhibition of the Wanderers, and in the collection of the Tretyakov.
Today, much of the work of Karl Gun is in the archives of the Tretyakov Gallery and the Russian Museum.

The book "Carl F. Gun" (by A. Eglit) - was published in Riga in 1955, painting is reproduced on 121 page of the book
Painting was exhibited twice, first in 1876 , and second time 1878 year
