Painter, teacher, People's Artist of the RSFSR, member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists (before 1992 - Leningrad branch of Union of Artists of the RSFSR) , portraitist , genre painter, one of the leading representatives of the Leningrad school of painting. His works are in the collections of the State Russian Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, in numerous museums and private collections in Russia, France , Britain, China, the U.S. , Japan, Germany , Italy and other countries.
