Life: July 16, 1921 - June 22, 2009, Dnepropetrovsk (Ukraine).
With 12 years of age visited the studio of Dnepropetrovsk Palace of Pioneers (head V.V.Devyatnin);
from 1937 to 1947 (amended in terms of studying the war), he studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art College in the class of fine teacher, a student of IE Repin, MN Panin;
from 1947 to 1954 - Kiev State Art Institute. Teachers - famous Ukrainian artists G.S.Melihov, VN Kostecki, S. Grigoriev.
Major works:
"Portrait of M. Panin" (1957), "Beside the Sea" (1959), "Kobzar" (1964), "How did he fall from his horse" (1969), "Land of Krivoy Rog" (1970), "Petropavlovsk" (1970), "Blue Water" (1970), a series of pastels "In Kamchatka" (1970-1973.), "Portrait of Natalia betonschitsy Izramtsevoy" (1974), a series of pastels "In Chukotka" (1977-1979.) series of studies "on the farm ... Egorin" (1988-1996 gg.) "In the country" (1991).
A member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1958).
Honored Artist of Ukraine (1976).
People's Artist of Ukraine (2001).
Around 70 works by Michael Kokin-property DXM, more than 60 times in books, anthologies, and magazines monokatalogah work was presented this outstanding artist.
