Draft Resolution "On celebrating the 195th anniversary of IK Aivazovsky "
 

May 22, 2012 Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Draft Resolution "On celebrating the 195th anniversary of IK Aivazovsky "(p. 10 148 number), initiated and sponsored by the People's Deputy of Ukraine Vadym Kolesnichenko. For a corresponding solution of 256 deputies voted.
The first thing to note, that the identity of an outstanding artist Ivan Aivazovsky did not cause the ideological and political opposition in the parliament. The People's Deputies, despite the different party attachment, could see in the draft Resolution "On celebrating the 195th anniversary of IK Aivazovsky "his good humanitarian focus.
Speakers noted that in the face of Ivan Aivazovsky, Ukraine and the world art is beautiful and amazing person. After all, the more we know just how battle-Aivazovsky "The Ninth Wave," "Fighting." At the same time, Ivan Aivazovsky, a lot of pictures written on Ukrainian themes. This and "Chumak in the wilderness," and "Harvest of Ukraine". Also, Aivazovsky, moreover, that was a brilliant artist who has done a lot for the city of Feodosia: took part in all the important projects for the modernization of the city.
Vadim Kolesnichenko, as the initiator and sponsor of the draft Decision p. № 10148 emphasized that such a significant date, as the 195 years since the birth of a talented marine painter, active social and cultural activist, philanthropist, IK Aivazovsky, must be marked at the state level.

As a result of the draft Resolution "On celebrating the 195th anniversary of IK Aivazovsky "(p. 10 148 number), the majority of people's deputies decided to support its adoption as a whole.
The project itself Decree № 10148 provides for the establishment of the Organizing Committee on preparation and holding events to celebrate the 195th anniversary of IK Aivazovsky, development and approval of the plan necessary actions on the life, work and the artist, ensuring their media coverage.
It is also recommended in the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, Feodosia and Sevastopol city state administrations to carry out the preparation and conduct of activities to celebrate the 195th anniversary of Ivan Aivazovsky.
In addition, the Ordinance provided for the holding galleries, museums, libraries, exhibitions, and educational institutions of scientific conferences on the life and work of IK Aivazovsky, publication of a series of stamps dedicated to the 195th anniversary of IK Aivazovsky.
