P I cordially thank you , colleague Pelagia Larin, for this important addition. In addition , Mr Nikitivich was still a member of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts and many years of permanent secretary of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR , and then Russia . I became acquainted with this outstanding master in the late 90 's, more precisely, in 1997 , a well-known art historian Nina Nikolaevna Filonovich , author of the first monograph on the artist (published by " Artist of the RSFSR ", 1991 ) . This work , among others I purchased directly in the artist's studio . It was a very difficult time for the creators.
