Auction house "Terra Decorum" for the first time in Ukraine conducts an auction, completely devoted to arts and crafts.

Among the top lots of the auction: Double gold-plated bronze sculpture "Marley Horses' brands Guillaume-tree, fireplace set the time of Napoleon III production plant Edouard Kresse - a supplier of the royal family, a wooden sculpture Fedota Efimenko" Satyr and Nymph, "a bronze sculpture of cabinet for model A. M. Wolf's "The Girl with the horses at the well," Tiffany table lamp with shade "Flowers Geranium" glass vases by Emile Galle, the clock mid-eighteenth century, the work of master watchmaker Frederic Duval.

Silver jewelery items will be presented in the Old Russian style and modernity, and American zapodnoevropeyskimi sets, vases and fruktovnitsami, Judaica - bsamimom kidushnymi and glasses.

Also on display for sale: fireplace sets, clocks, candelabra of gilded bronze and stone in a variety of styles from Classical to Art Deco lamps and floor lamps, as well as cabinet sculptures of European and Russian authors.

Majolica vase with molded decoration in the form of twigs and oak leaves production of the Association of MS Kuznetsova and unique pitcher is decorated with porcelain factory Gorodnitski section on porcelain and earthenware.

Among the items of folk crafts are the masters of Palekh boxes and wooden sculpture.

Fedot Efimenko author wooden sculpture "Satyr and Nymph."


Fedot I. Efimenko (Yukhimenko) (I floor. XIX - the beginning of the twentieth century). A master volume sculpture came from the village of Great Budyscha now Dikansky district, Poltava region of the dynasty of hereditary carvers. He worked as a sculptor of princes Kochubey family. The author of monumental sculptures for the palace of the princes in St. Petersburg, luxurious furniture sets, fireplaces, cabinets, figurines and statues of various styles and sizes s valuable wood adorned the palace in the famous Gogol Kochubeev Dikanka village. Fedot Efimenko exhibited in many exhibitions his works of sculpture: the image of John the Baptist, Tsar Alexander III, bas-relief compositions, carved chandeliers, sideboards, cabinets, office chairs and armchairs in the Russian style. He took part in local exhibitions in Poltava, Dikanka, Zin'kova over time in the All-Russia: in Kharkov (1887), Industrial and Art in Nizhny Novgorod (1896). For his work Fedot Efimenko received high awards: silver, small silver and bronze medals, commendable letter, cash awards. From the studio Fedot Ivanovich came his disciples, carvers: V.Garbuz, P.Krempoha, V.Reva etc.
