Philip Philipovich Klimenko (1862 - after 1917)

Ukrainian artist. He was born in southern Russia. Art education in a ORSH K. Kostandi . He has participated in exhibitions TYURH (1891 , 1902) and taught at ORSH . Almost all the works devoted to the Black Sea species. This is seascapes and images of ships. He worked mainly in watercolors . Many of the works reproduced on postcards in St. Petersburg and Stockholm, published by P. Gekshera and equity Islands Grönberg . The fate of the creative heritage is unknown, may have died a lot during the revolution. His works are very rare in the antique market and provide great value to museums and private collections.
