Kuchumov Nikitich Basil (1888-1959)
The historical painter, landscape painter, stage designer , a master of the genre interior. He studied at the Higher School of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts (1910-1916) , wrote a thesis "Peter I examining the statue of Venus in the Summer Palace ." In 1911 he was awarded the second prize of the Academy of Fine Arts for the sketch of " Salome bringing the head of John the Baptist ." He was influenced by artists of the "World of Art ". He took part in the annual exhibitions of " Independent Association " (1911-1914) , art and psychology of "Triangle" ( 1908) , the Society to them. A. Kuindzhi ( 1926-1929 ). His works are in the SRM, the Dnepropetrovsk Art Museum , and many regional museums.
