SBSMSK, looks like a modern painting.

We should have good photos to add.

In the near future will not be able to, forwarded, as such, photographs, and assure that 70 years hung in the family.

Signature or who do not like?

I guess you have to look for graduates of the Academy of Arts Handbook.

It seems that the person has received an artistic education.

And hardly a school of painting.

But who knows ...

Are your ancestors came from Europe?
Very much European work.
The name of the author, most likely, Pierre, Phillpp or Paul.

And so, too, can say.

But the fact is that this is a semi-academic painting, and it was quite similar in different countries, including Russia.
