  In 1941 Mr. Garnisov entered the Moscow Art School "1905" year. After graduating in 1945 was admitted to the Stroganov Academy of Fine Arts. Since 1948, G.Garnisov worked as a freelance artist. In 1950 he became friends with V.Nemuhinym, N. Vechtomova, V. Weissberg and other young artists who were involved in an underground avant-garde movement. It is also an artist Lianozovo circle.
