Surprisingly, today, many Russian artists of the Parisian school submitted their price positions ...

At the very stuck selling a pair of these artists are not the first magnitude.

And because it is clear that they are not overrated, quite the contrary - are overlooked. One does wonder when will they finally take their rightful foothold in the market.

I'd like to draw attention to this thing Jacques Shapiro (1887 - 1972):

Lot 132

"The Paris scene." In 1967. H., m 81 x 130 cm

Estimate: 4000 - 5000 €
The result: 5,148 €

In my opinion, it was later Shapiro, with his bright recognizable style, deserves attention. And here is the work, just look!

Where everything boils and seethes: flashing lights, "Cinema", beeping horns, some singing, some kissing, arguing with the concierge dvornichihoy , the curve of an old lantern, and all this against a background of ivy-clad cottages, hidden from the blue haze of the impending high-rise buildings (Paris is growing - the 60s!) - a song, not the picture! And, it's ridiculous to say, only 5148 euros for such a luxury. Surprisingly, in my opinion ...

A good scene!
I am also confident that this is an excellent investment in the medium to long term.
