Cracks
Dear experts , prokomentiruyte , please estimate the effect on the picture ( from a position of kolektsionera , art ), small cracks on the face that are visible when previewing pictures before the light source ? If no fracture pattern ( 30x40 ) is , say, 1000u.e , how such cracks will affect its price , or it is considered to be hopelessly tainted ?

And even though you look at the "Lace" Tropinin.
Cracelures sometimes even give some extra charm. |
I think a lot depends on storage conditions, and the original primer and so on.
There are canvases that of 50-60 years and there's no cracks, if there is, they are mechanical. |
Friends, let us still follow the conventional terminology!
craquelure. Net (like a spider web), longitudinal, with a detached, expanded, etc. Arising from damage or poor communication with the ground, his constituents. And then the rumor cuts <! - ~ 1 ~ ->. |
clarify the issue - it is not about craquelure as such.
For example, a picture youngish (20-30 years) was kept in neblogopriyatnyh conditions (ie cold, then hot, then wet, then dry) in consequence of that and there were cracks in the soil mechanical nature and meets the colorful layer. |
"Cracks" excite collectors, contributing to a rush of blood to areas of the brain responsible for pleasure <! - ~ 1 ~ ->
