January 16 to March 1 in the halls of the Cultural Foundation "Ekaterina" (Kuznetsk bridge, 21 /5) held a personal exhibition of the artist Tahir Salakhova.

Tahir Salah - symbolic figure for the domestic arts, founder of the "severe style", a living classic, a lot done, not only for the art itself, but also for people in the arts. Nearly thirty years Salakhov held senior positions in the Union of Artists, which gave him the opportunity to support young artists, to support students Surikovsky Institute and to cover "non-conformists. With its direct involvement in the late 1980's - early 1990's in Moscow were solo exhibitions of Robert Rauschenberg, Rosenquist, Gunter Yukkera, Francis Bacon, Jean Tinguely, Giorgio Morandi, Janis Kunellisa, Gilbert and George. But the official could not obscure Salakhov Salakhova-artist who has created more than 60 years of creative activity, hundreds of paintings and graphic works, of which several dozen are rightly considered masterpieces of national art.
