In 1863 Manet paints a picture "Breakfast on the Grass", followed by - "Olympia." In the presented to them the image of a naked woman on a couch that resembles the genre traditions in Giorgione, Titian, Velazquez, Goya and Ingres, and there are signs of new times - features puppets and fetish. These two paintings strongly inherited from critics.

Innovative methods of art Manet, causing resistance to the public, attracted to him by young artists looking for new means of expression in painting. Manet began to cluster around Degas, Pissarro, Monet, Renoir and Sisley. They were impressed not only innovation, Manet, and his erudition, profound knowledge of art history, ownership of all methods of painting and graphic art. The immediate disciples of Manet Morisot were B., E. and M. Gozales Kesset, but he had a significant impact on the entire group of artists-impressionists.
