He taught at the School of Painting and Sculpture, founded in Tiflis Society for Encouragement of Fine Arts. He studied Lado Gudiashvili. Known as the artist painted the altar of the Old Trinity Church and member of the painting of the Alexander Nevski Cathedral in Tbilisi military.
