The final stage of the annual art project dedicated to the 100th anniversary of abstract art - "The image of music in the abstract." During the year we always go back to the creativity of the founder of abstract art of Kandinsky and tried to rethink his musical legacy. In this project we are considering the possibility to depict in art music or impressions of them.
"The influence of music has made a harmony in my perception of the world, and this may have helped me to see art differently. Music and art are very similar to those that have the tone and rhythms of high intensity and area of ​​peace "- said one of the leading abstract artists in Latin America, Leonardo Nierman.
We would like to play a creative experiment in real time by collecting in one place 15 authors - recognized abstract artists. 15 painters, photographers, graphic artists, within two weeks of attending musical performances at the Odessa Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, musical evenings in the organ hall or jazz club. At the same time artists have worked in the host hotel "Youth" and the end of the plein air created over 70 works of art, a variety of artistic and documentary photography.
After a picturesque ancient Kamenetz-Podolsk and industrial giant Zaporozhye final stage of the project goes into the cultural and musical capital of the country - Odessa. Art repeats the development of the country, there exist at present priorities: HISTORY - INDUSTRY - CULTURE. So our project completes the marked circle, connecting music and contemporary art.
