In modern Russian transcription is the name of the current president of France, Mr. Sarkozy is always written as " Nichol I".
But already the name of the French painter Nicolas Poussin is written by an old man , " Nicol and", but sometimes, " Nichol I".
And Nicol I De Stael , for example , at this forum Russian Parisienne LCR is the letter "I" at the end of the name says , I noticed [/URL].
