The gallery Proun Winery hosts an exhibition on "Flights in dream and reality", collected about 60 papers on the theme of flight in the performance of various avant-garde artists.
The exhibition will soon be closed, you can visit it until October 30.

Exhibition "Flights in dream and reality" in the Metropolitan Gallery "Proun" is the theme of overcoming gravity in terms of avant-garde - from Malevich to Kabakov and Matyushin and Infante.

Art projects on a particular cross-cutting theme, idea, problem, usually claiming not only to the analyst, but also on foreign intrigue. Adding to the spectacle of one of the pieces of music from different times and with distinct, aesthetic attitudes, supervisors often tend to unexpected rendezvous and unexpected turns of the claimed subject. Perhaps, in front of the organizers of this exhibition in the "Proun" such problems were not - primarily because much of the material comes from the common "cultural layer". Here running the show the representatives of "the first avant-garde", and if concrete - followers of irrelevance led by Kazimir Malevich. Three pencil drawings of the Suprematist Kazimir Severinovich can be considered as an epigraph to the project.

If we proceed from this installation, once removed the question of what exactly "fly" refers to the title of the exhibition. For authors, presented at the exhibition was important not so much the fact of flight, as his aesthetic interpretation. It's not about the technical development of an air or airless space through the airships, airplanes, space stations, etc., and not of metaphysics, and not the romantic visions of the spirit of Marc Chagall. Mainly refers to the sketches and designs of avant-garde utopias - the same ones who held the imagination of a number of artists inspired by the revolution.
