Sotheby's auction for the first time in history put on sale picture of abstract expressionist Nat Tate, entitled "Bridge number 114." A press release from the auction house reported that work with the estimate of 3-5 thousand pounds go under the hammer on November 16, passes Lenta.ru.

Newspaper The Independent wrote that many artists say that little is known about the artist Tate, but none of them said that he heard about it first.

In Boyd's fraud involved his publisher and some art critics, but at some point, leading art historians realized that it was a hoax.
