E. Caves, solo exhibition
 

With the assistance of the Lithuanian consulate in Kaliningrad, Kaunas Artists' House held a personal exhibition of the artist Kaliningrad E. Caves.

Caves Evgeny was born in Petropavlovsk (1952)
He graduated from the graphic arts department of the Omsk State Pedagogical Institute (1980).
Talk of more than 200 exhibitions. During the period 2000 - 2011 gg. author held 27 solo exhibitions.

His works are in collections:
Republican picture them. A. Kosteeva, Alma-Ata State Art Museum, Tselinograd, Regional Art Gallery, Petropavlovsk, Kazakhstan; Republican Art Gallery, Ashgabat, Regional Art Gallery, Tyumen, Kaliningrad State Art Gallery, Kaliningrad Regional History and Art Museum, the Museum of World Ocean Kaliningrad, the Naval Museum in Baltiysk Kaliningrad region., Russia;
as well as in private collections in Russia, Germany, Portugal, Israel, USA, Lithuania, China.

Public has received photos from the exhibition and images from the cards.
In my opinion, a wonderful artist. Very thin.

I liked the one phrase from the booklet , accurately characterizes the mood of the exhibition:
" The Elementary Forms of technology and products in E. Caves - provocative. Behind them is not visible measure of labor and the depth of thought. But the more valuable the result: the ease and simplicity of perception ... "(T. Suvorov , art historian and director of the Museum of Amber ).

"Elementary form" and " technique " - " elder " and " uncle ", a measure of work and depth of thought just something obvious.

The artist simply gorgeous and very promising ( noticeably rise in price in recent years ).
Watching him for several years. Frankly, what he did until the year 2002 , I was a little attracted. And then there was a some kind of breakthrough , and in subsequent papers appeared that something real .
