Ilyin , Joseph M. (b. 1915, Mogilev) portrait painter , author of the narrative scenes . Engaged in the art studios in the city of Ivanovo (1935-1937) , Kiev ( 1937-1939) . During the Great Patriotic War, fought in the 254th Infantry Division, which went through the whole war.
In 1950-1953. studied in Moscow in G. Queen. He worked as a graphic designer . Painted on military subjects, including portraits of fellow soldiers, soldiers of the 11th Panzer Corps , which took place from Moscow to Berlin , the heroes of the guerrilla movement and the war scenes . Solo exhibitions of his work were held in Moscow in 1963, 1968 , 1969, 1972. His works are in many private collections .
