German artist named prices for contemporary art is absurd

German Gerhard Richter, one of the most expensive contemporary artists, called the current prices for works of art "stupid." Richter said this on October 4 at a press conference marking the opening of his exhibition at the Tate Gallery in London, reports Reuters.
