Eight names. It's still alive Andreenkov artists Vladimir Alexei Kamensky, Andrei Krasulin, Igor Vulokh, Valery Yurlov, Yuri Zlotnikov and, alas, gone - Boris Otarov (1916-1991) and Marlen Spindler (1931-2003).

The exhibition includes paintings and sculptures. These artists are so different in terms of artistic preference, united to such affiliation semiotic phenomena in the history of Soviet art as a nonconformity. Content of their work is the assertion of its own vision and understanding of the world based on the continuation and reinterpretation of aesthetics of Russian and foreign avant-garde of the first third of the twentieth century.
The first exhibition of "informal meeting" was held at the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg) from May 19 to August 10, 2011.

NATA NOVA, is an excellent question from the standpoint of theory, but that's almost ... My impression is that among many -isms are so abundant in today's art medium, each artist , let alone a collector and curator, selected the most similar to themselves . So you want to call it to the organizers of the exhibition Nonconformity beginning of the XXI century - let the call ... Especially because this is Documented (and very good ) reason : all the same Museum [/URL] - it means something .

I agree that may not be entirely correct sounds. But some of the papers presented at the exhibition, painted by artists in the XXI century. Therefore , apparently , the organizers felt so right to write in an official release. By the way, ask the experts, non-conformism (or, its new wave) - is not possible in our time? some inner sense of past events policheskih that this form will be more than ... may be relevant. and not only , in fact . the " actual " art, which suddenly became too much around . however , a huge "Putin- Medvedev " collage , poster theme , so well represented at the last Art- Moscow - certainly not comparable to the works of the XX century nonconformists .

Generally, " non-conformity " - is not the direction in art, not for a painting.
In the context of national history artificial this word called all the artists whose work (or the method , manner , etc.) do not fit into the official Soviet art and there in the " underground ."
And usually, I imagine , covers the period 1960-1980 -s ..

Of course, you're absolutely right ! Nonconformity - and an absolutely stable phenomenon took place . This I do so . evoked strong recent events.

In addition, it will be interesting , I think , to see how the work of eight ( ! 0 artists met together in one space . How very different from each other by language of art: shape, color , plastic and style of work submitted yet "imprint " period 60-70 years of unofficial art in the then USSR.

Exhibition at the timing was very successful (there were presented about 70 works ). However, some exhibitors were unable to come to St. Petersburg , so the exhibition "The Retreat " takes place in Moscow Nadi Gallery Brykin . All forum participants AI invite !

In the context of the country's history of arts " nonconformists " called all the artists whose work (or the method , manner , etc.) do not fit into the official Soviet art and there in the " underground ."

As I remember, not all those who are now ranked among the nonconformists, even knew the word itself . As early as 2000. I heard the question about the meaning of the word in the gallery of one collector of this particular direction. Spoke of " unofficial art ", then it was called " underground ".... " nonconformity " - much later ... Today conformity no longer exists, it ended after the events of 1968 ...

And what of the "events of 1968"?
Invasion of Czechoslovakia?
May events in France?

Прохожий 27.09.2011 05:59

K-Maler, if non-conformism - the art of the informal, the conformism - on the contrary, the official.
If I understood you correctly, you say that after 1968 the official art "over"?
