Biennale for Young Art. Began accepting applications

Today officially began accepting applications for participation in the III Moscow International Biennale for Young Art 'Qui Vive? ". http://new.youngart.ru/apply/index.php/ru/

The event will be held in 2012 at the start of the participants should not be more than 35 years. Announced three sites. The main project will take place in the CHA. And two exhibitions will be held in MMSI (Ermolaevsky 17, Tverskaya Boulevard 9). What about people of a parallel program are critical. But the chance to organize the event there is prarellelnoe. Terms are three: space and money people have to organize themselves and, most importantly, to support the curator. Behind it - the final word.

A curator at us - Katrin Becker. www.k-becker.org German. She, in particular, did show the Monastery, Moscow Conceptualism, social realism, a lot of international projects. Becker - Head videoforuma new Berlin Art Association. So I can assume that the curator can select to dominate the video.

Subject of the main project - "Under the Sun of tinsel." The search for artists for a new identity. The mood of the organizers I liked it. Teasing each other, "innovation" with "War" reproach. You feel for it with a spark come from, Paul Khoroshilov finally lit up on the podium.

Funding is the right thing Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation. At the last Biennale was filed more than 2,500 applications. And in the end 600 artists were selected. So chances are pretty good.

The winner receives a cash prize. Respect but more money.

Why imaging Poysti ? It has never commented on here participate in contests created by politicians. Whether it Prokhorov or Zyuganov, the artist is harmful if not death at all abut their creativity to the politicians . The artist must express only their best and to distance itself from political groups.

"Competition" is not created by politicians.
The Moscow International Biennale for Young Art ' Qui Vive ? " will be held three times , first passed in the summer of 2008
Participating artists should not be bolshii 35 years and they are usually just left-wing , if you do it so interesting. At the last Biennale, for example , an exhibition of Roman Minin " beautiful history of mania ," if you said something to the name of the artist : he had just revived the style of the "left Moscow Union of Artists " at the sociopolitical material of his native Donbas with its poverty and corruption .
And again, the organizers plan to show artists including Africa, Latin America , Southeast Asia.
