Working Man
I beg your pardon , I do not know in what subject is classified . I'll try this .
Exploring the authorship of a French " attic " of work ( landscape Giverny ) , stumbled upon some interesting information , namely - "portrait of a man " of Manet (portrait d'homme, MANET, 1860 , huile sur toile, 61 x 50 cm, Collection Kroller-Muller Museum, Otterlo Pays-Bas). As in Yeltsin said , " ... human -like ..." :)> So to whom? Raising environment Manet, his friendships , it appears that it is a portrait of his close friend Theodore Robinson. In any case, comparing the work with photos is obvious. But there is a BUT , the portrait is dated 1860. On the other hand 12 years ( photo 1872 ) - not a big difference, but Robinson's date of birth - 1852 (4 photos to him 20 years? ? It's not very realistic ). Not correct dating of the portrait , picture or image is not Robinson ? link, link2 |
I will add one more job "human-like ...".
She flashed on eBay, but the owner took it to the auction. Authorship of work has not been established. In the authentication is not sure as to not hold hands. May be wrong, but he saw similarities with Robinson. |
