So to whom? Raising environment Manet, his friendships , it appears that it is a portrait of his close friend Theodore Robinson. In any case, comparing the work with photos is obvious. But there is a BUT , the portrait is dated 1860. On the other hand 12 years ( photo 1872 ) - not a big difference, but Robinson's date of birth - 1852 (4 photos to him 20 years? ? It's not very realistic ). Not correct dating of the portrait , picture or image is not Robinson ?
