Klyukin Oleg Pavlovich (1929-2002)


Born in the village Vasilevo (city Chkalovsk)
Nizhny Novgorod province. In 1946,
enrolled in the Yaroslavl Art
College, later transferring to
Gorky's art school,
from which he graduated in 1951. From this
the year begins to participate in
art exhibitions.
From 1952 to 1965 he lived and worked in Grozny
In 1957 a delegation of the Chechen-
Ingush Autonomous Republic was part VI
World Festival of Youth and Students
in Moscow.
Member of the Union of Artists since 1960. In
1965 he moved to the Moscow region, in
Noginsk.
In his last years OP Klyukin lived and
worked for the Volga near the old
Russian city Gorodets, where he created a number of
peasant paintings on the theme,
numerous landscapes and still lifes.
Honored Artist of Russia, was awarded
diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme
RSFSR Council for services to
art.
Paintings OP Klyukina exhibited at
regional, national and union and
evropyeskih art exhibitions.
His works are kept at 14
museums and galleries in Russia, as well as in
National Gallery of Modern
Art Glasgow (UK),
galleries and private collections in France,
USA, UK, Italy, Hong Kong and
other countries.
The plot of the artist, OP Klyukin included in the
American television film "Lick
Russia ", which was launched in
U.S. Congress in 1998.
