About the artist AA Shishin
 

I will try to add something new about my father, AA Shishin, and show some of his paintings.
Basic info before you read on Wikipedia. Add only, that he ordered a copy of the Central Lenin Museum, the Museum of the Communist Party of Moldova, and the exhibition of Soviet art still held in Tokyo and Sendai.
He had his circle of admirers in Russia and abroad. I know for sure that his work was in England, Australia, Japan, Czech Republic, Bulgaria. Paintings were sold in the Foreign salon in Moscow, but no account, he did not keep.
One famous man said about his father: "He was a great artist, but was unable (or unwilling) to work with his elbows."
Was acquainted with prominent figures in art, literature, politics and business - with writers, AS Ivanov, VA Soloukhin, AV Sofronov, poet VI Firsov, LI businessman Baranikasom, M. Kolombet (now Gen. Consul of the Russian Federation in Palermo).

Alexei Shishin

Biography

Born in Kashira February 2, 1924 in a working class family. Already in early youth, thanks to artistic talent, has become the main breadwinner of the family - commissions from wealthy residents of this small town. The desire to become a real artist led him to Moscow, where he arrived in 1939, after graduating from high school and enrolled at the Moscow State Academic Art School in memory of 1905. In the same year moved to the Theatre and Art College, where in the early days of the war volunteer went to the labor front, and then returned to his hometown and worked at the Kashira plant. In February 1942, was called Kashyrsk rayvoenkomatom Moscow region into the Soviet Army until January 1944 served as a private.

In October 1944 he entered the Moscow City art studio for disabled World War II, where he graduated in 1950. His thesis was awarded the highest ratings K. and H. Juon Ryazhskaya.

In 1952 he was admitted to the Moscow Association of Artists and has worked in the workshop of painting. Since 1969 - Member of the Moscow Union of Artists (Painting Department).

Participant of numerous exhibitions in the USSR and abroad, including on the Japanese island of Kyushu (1975), which presented works by the best artists from all over the USSR.

Art

Was not an artist-copyist, but it was he trusted the government orders for the execution of copies of the great Russian artists of the government of the USSR and foreign countries - VV Vereshchagin, Ivan Aivazovsky, Shishkin, etc. Copy of Shishkin's "Forest given "was presented to Leonid Brezhnev at the 70th anniversary. Range of possibilities AA Shishina was unusually wide. Writer VA Soloukhin trusted him restore the icons of its unique collection, called him the best restorer. Landscapes AA Shishina at an exhibition in Moscow in 1973 acquired the cosmonaut Alexei Leonov, Soviet Ambassador to Australia, publicist Michael Lobanov, etc.
