Szyszko Sergei Fedorovich, a 100-year anniversary!
 

Today anniversary date of the famous Ukrainian painter
 master landscape and still life-Szyszko Sergei Fedorovich (1911-1997).

Sergei Shishko was born June 25, 1911 g. in with. Nosovka Nizhyn district in Chernigov in the family veterinarian.

 In 1919 he moved with his parents in Nizhyn.
 In elementary school, which graduated in S. Shishko 1926
 Pirogov and teachers instilled in future artist Karataev love of music and literature.

 And the first lessons of professional skill, Sergei Szyszko was a teacher of drawing at P. Feet,
 he always remembered with great respect and love.

 It was this teacher was able to instill in his student a love for art,
  helped the first lessons learned and professional advice,
 that played a significant role in the S. Shishko as an artist with his own handwriting.

In 1929-33, ii - studied at the Kiev Institute of Fine Arts in painting department at the Theodore Krichevsky.
In 1936, S. Shishko comes to the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of the Russian Academy of Arts in Leningrad,
where is trained in the studio Boris Johanson.

 In 1942-43 GG - evacuated to Samarkand.
 After completing training at the Institute (1943), while the artist lived and worked in Zagorsk, near Moscow.

 In 1944, S. Shishko returned to Ukraine.

 Performs a series of front-line drawings, sketches, portraits of the 1st Ukrainian Front, then touring the cities of Western Ukraine, Bukovina.

 In 1944, Sergei Fedorovich permanently moved to Kiev, where until 1997 he worked productively,
 their creativity in developing the tradition of the classics of Ukrainian Fine Arts.

 People's Artist of USSR (1974).
  Winner of State Prize. Shevchenko (1982).
 People's Artist of Ukraine. NSHU member.

He was awarded the Order of Lenin (1971), the Order of Friendship of Peoples (1981), the Order of Ukraine "For Merits" (1995).

Shining a wonderful person and great painter of Kiev!

Just quietly and modestly passes its anniversary exhibition at the gallery NUDE - ART Grushevskogo . Represented only by works from private collections . It is a pity that the National Art Museum has stood aside ... A show at Grushevskogo runs until August 31. Hurry up !
