Baklitsky Vudon Ivanovich (1942 - 1992)

    Ukrainian artist, dissident " sixties ". Born in Kazakhstan . From 1949 he lived in Kiev . He worked as a decorator in the studio, took part in archeological expeditions. Between 1977 and conducted joint exhibition with the artist 's best friend N. Tregubov . A large number of works by the master was taken out by foreign collectors abroad . Consisted of a group of artists " New Band ". In 1991 - 1992 was a member and exhibitor of independent artists , " Strontium -90 ." Belonged to the representatives of the striking non-conformism. Disciples and followers were B. Weisberg , V. Bykov , L. Kolodnitsky , J. Lawrence , and others in the works are NHMU , Zimmerli Art Museum in New Jersey and many others.
