Ekaterina V. Kamshilova born September 2, 1904 in the city of Perm province Irbit (now Sverdlovsk region) in a large and happy family Viktor Pavlovich and Lyudmila Konstantinovna. From 1923 to 1926 she studied at the Perm State Art College. Here, she acquired a lifelong loyal friends: MI Kuznetsov, V. In college Ekaterina V. met her future husband - Leo Zinoviev, which in 1926, after graduating from college, went to Leningrad. There she continued her education at the Leningrad Academy of Fine Arts at the Faculty of graphic and graduated in 1930 with a degree in "engineering graphics". After graduating, Ekaterina V. remained in Leningrad, with her husband. She got a job at etching and lithographic workshop ES Kruglikova at the Leningrad branch of the Union of Artists. For many a decade, even before the war, in the studio, where she worked Ekaterina V., made out to the facades of the former revolutionary holidays Stroganov Palace on Nevsky Prospekt. Even before the Great Patriotic War, Ekaterina V. took part in two exhibitions representative of Leningrad - Leningrad women artists and the exhibition of the Municipal Committee of Fine Arts.
June 22, 1941 anticipated opening of the exhibition, but the war started and Ekaterina V. was forced to evacuate along with the five-year-old daughter to Perm. In Leningrad died, all property, including its work. In this artist's troubles were not over. In early 1942, news arrived of the death of her husband, who defended Leningrad, in her care were a daughter, mother, nephew, whose father was missing. In Tatyana Zinovyeva, daughter of E. Kamshilovoy, the first years in Perm left painful memories. Grandmother, Lyudmila Konstantinovna, which has planned to settle, was evicted from the service apartment. All of them are sheltered friend, Zoe Andreyevna Balandin, in the house at Cherdynsky, 6 (now the street Klimenko). There they lived for four people in the hallway area of twelve square meters up to 1949.
Ekaterina V. recalled: "With the fall of 1941, has organized a workshop Agitplakat, where artists and Perm evacuated from Moscow, Leningrad, the Ukraine, worked on" agitoknami. While working in agitmasterskoy Ekaterina V. and printed their posters, postcards, flyers, calendars, portraits of heroes of World War II and the rear, served as agitation and design works in the theme parks, train stations, near the factory entrance. In 1942, Ekaterina V. was a member of the Union of Artists, and in 1946 - was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945."
In the mid-1940s, Ekaterina V. took part in the exhibition "Ural - Blacksmith" (1944) and the exhibition of works of art to the Conference of the USSR for the study of the productive forces of Molotov in 1945, which was represented by her work - a lot of curly-graphic composition "locomotive factory."
In the postwar years, Ekaterina V. continued to work in agitmasterskoy. In 1949 he began working in book publishing to Perm position of technical and artistic editor. She has illustrated books, LI Davydycheva, A. Matrosov, AN Speshilova, EF Trutnev and others. But most of all, according to Tatyana, she loved the book illustrate Eugene Feodorovna Trutnev: "Boxes," "The Golden Ear", "Summer Day," "Our House", "What in the woods?"
However, the work of talented artist was not confined to "pipeline" work in a publishing house. She loved to paint portraits, and for nature often she would invite friends, friends, relatives and children and just strangers who met at various events. In 1954, Ekaterina V. did a good lithographic portrait of the writer of the Ural P. Bazhova, who has repeatedly exhibited at various exhibitions. Over the long creative life Ekaterina V. wrote many self-portraits, portraits of his daughter. Another passion of the artist was painting. She traveled extensively in the Perm region, was often in the suburbs, in Rybinsk. The objects of her nature were Chernyaevskogo corners of the forest. A special love of the artist calls "beautiful birch" at different times of the year. In Catherine Victorovna many still lifes. Tatiana says: "I remember how she literally glowed when the house appeared beautiful flowers or fruits. Ekaterina V. and engaged in social work, was a member of the Sverdlovsk district council, working in the committees on public education, family life and improvement of the city, three times, was elected to the board of Union of Artists Perm RSFSR, has organized many exhibitions and a device in the city and region.
Ekaterina V. Kamshilova died after a long illness November 6, 1986. EV Kamshilovoy works, paintings and drawings are stored in the Permian (100 +) and Chusovoy art galleries, local history museums in Perm and Solikamsk, as well as in private collections.
