The picture was measured, the size 64h131sm. Add rear view, view of the frame and the connection of the frame.
What do you think about the signature?

SergeiSK 26.01.2009 23:22

Hardly Baumgartner-stall. His signature is different and it is usually put initials - either "A" or "C". At the end of the signature of this painting, too, the names do not appear on the Baumgartner-stall. Voobshchem signature does not look ...

Signed though illegible, but readable. Moreover, Stoilov had several of its variants. And then - plot structure and style are very similar. Hold my opinion.

Wladzislaw 27.01.2009 03:19

This is definitely not worth it.

Sandro 27.01.2009 12:52

This is not Stoilov, and some Stieehil or Stieehel, in artprayse no.

And then - plot structure and style are very close

These stories were very popular in Poland, Germany, East Europe in the 1st half of the twentieth century. Pts. many in the German auctions of similar items.

Agree. Not worth it. Neither painting, and even less for signature.
100%- not him.
But the picture is quite nice.
