Honored Artist of the RSFSR .
 In 1941-1945. fought in the West , Volkhov , Leningrad fronts . Participated in the defense of Brest (1941 ), lifting of the blockade of Leningrad (1943-1944 ) . In 1952 he graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts , where he studied under Professor Tilberga .
Solo exhibitions were held in Moscow (1990, 1991 , 1992 , 1996 , 2003 ) , Vyshny Volochok (2005 ).
His works are held in Tver Art Gallery , Art Museum of Krasnodar and other regional museums in the former USSR .
