Memory of members of the Union of Russian artists, whose work belongs to the twentieth century.

Spring Exhibition Artists' Union is traditionally associated with the names of artists-participants of the Great Patriotic War - VF Letyanina (1921-2009), JP Kormilitsyna (1921-2010), JD Liberova (1921-2008), PP Chernikovicha (1920-2011), AA Lobkovsky (1918-1991), who in peacetime were able to realize his talent.

Besides, the exhibition features works of the founders of the Gorky branch of the Union of Russian Artists, VM Sokolov (1901-1978), LA Hnygina (1882-1969), AM Kamanin (1905-1989), SM Zakrzewski (1899-1985), AV Samson (1905-1994), members of Gorky's art school 1960-80-ies - OG Bordeya (1916-1992), NI Znamensky (1919-1982), MA Kamanin (1933-1992), IM Ashkenazi (1917-2000). Some of the leading masters of social realism - VF Zhemerikina (1942-2005), MF Holueva (1923-1990), VF Holueva (1932-2002), IA Kornev (1932-2001), DA Makarov (1930-2006) - represent an antique value.

Graphic arts is represented by such famous names as DD Arsenin (1926-2001), NP Velichko (1932-1992), VS Kalinin (1927-1994), GP Nadezhdin (1934-1999), VI Averin (1907-1971).

Sculptors PI Gusev (1917-2010), AV Kikin (1898-1963), GP Mironov (1918-2003) made a significant contribution to the development of monumental sculpture in our city. The exposition will include their easel works.

Famous khokhloma fishing has been developed through the work of EN Dospalovoy (1932-2003), NI Ivanova (1928-2001), SP Veselov (1903-1993).

Most of the exhibits are in private collections. Many of the paintings, graphic works are unfamiliar audience, and yet they are the pride of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Union of Artists.

In general, the exhibition reflects the state of the iconic work of our masters of the Soviet period, and thus contributes significantly to the understanding of the importance of culture in our region.

Solo Exhibitions : N. Novgorod , 1988 , 1998 , 2001 .

Chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod of the Union of Artists of Russia ( 1992-1994 ).

He taught at rxy (1965-1975 ) .
