By the 180- th anniversary of artist Nikolai Nikolaevich Ge in the capital, Kiev National Museum of Russian Art will host an exhibition of his work . About this Kievpress reported in the press service of the museum .

The exhibition presents a unique collection of monographic works of the painter - one of the major Russian artists of the second half of the XIX century , the master of historical painting , a gifted portraitist and landscape painter. Kievans show about 70 paintings , drawings , sculptures from the collection belonging to different periods of the master from the time of study at the Academy of Arts and ending with the last years of life .
