Only in one week, from 4 to 11 March in Kiev city museum "Spiritual Treasures of Ukraine" (street Tithes, 12) will host an exhibition of a collection of paintings and icons from private collections. Everyone can get acquainted with the lots, which will be on display March 12 at the bidding of the leading Ukrainian Auction House "Corners".
"Corners" - one of the first auction houses, which launched a public pre-auction exhibition that in the short term before changing the owner of the lot, all art lovers have the opportunity to become acquainted with the works of museum level.
For the new auction season "Corners" has prepared a fascinating collection that contains the names of internationally renowned artists. First of all, it's classic paintings of Russian and Ukrainian painting at the turn of the XIX - XX centuries - Repin, S. Vasilkovskaja, J. Clover, A. Kiselev, S. Vinogradov, G. Svetlitsky, K. Korovin.
Art of the first half of the twentieth century represented the works of Gorbatov, N. Milioti, A. Petritsky, G. Lapshin, T. Dvornikova, M. Voloshin, Burliuk, Kandinsky, Picasso, etc.
Among the leading masters of the Ukrainian art of the twentieth century may be noted I. Trush, K. Lomykina, V. Zaretsky, N. Glushchenko, S. Szyszko, A. Shovkunenko, FA Zakharova, V. Tsvetkova and many others.
Landmark lot of the auction will be painting "Guardian Angel" one of the most respected Ukrainian artists in France - Sony Levitskaya. In 1905 the artist settled in Paris where he quickly achieved success and recognition as a brilliant representative of the Paris School of Montparnasse. In the early 1930's in Paris, held the resonant exhibition of prominent women artists in Europe, France has been presented by the works of S. Levitskaya, Natalia Goncharova and C. Delaunay. Works of the artist kept in the Museum of Montparnasse and the National Museum of Modern Art in Paris, the museums of Le Havre, Vienna and other cities.
For the first time on the Ukrainian bid will hear the name of the founder of the New York School of abstract expressionism - John Graham. Ivan Dombrowski - the real name of the master, who was born in 1877 in Kiev, in 1920 he emigrated to the United States and became a legendary figure and a pioneer in American Art 1930 - 1950.
Sensational event will be exhibited on the auctions work the king of pop art of Andy Warhol - screen printing "Mao" (1972). Sale of a similar product for $ 706 000 was built by the master on the second place in the top 10 most expensive western artists on the art market Prodnebesnoy in 2010. Today, Warhol "Mao" can compete for recognition with his own famous "Marilyn".

I really doubt the authenticity of works Clover Yu and K. Korovin and who may be interested in attributing the Ukraine these artists, however Kiselev also not easy.
