In 1945 - 1952 he studied at the State Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named. Repin (USSR Academy of Arts), where he was a student, LI Rudakov and VM Konashevych. (1952). Became famous after making the story of Ivan Turgenev, "Spring Waters."
Party-union and international exhibitions of Soviet plots in Poland, East Germany, Czechoslovakia and Bulgaria.
In 1954, Tretyakov Gallery, included a number of his works in the permanent exhibition of the Soviet Division. In 1990, the artist leaves the graphics and completely transferred to the painting technique. The main themes of his works have become - the ballet, portrait, landscape, childhood.
Of D. Borowski stored in the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery, GRM.
Died 2004 in St. Pererburge.
