In the center of the photo to them. Lumiere brothers, yesterday opened a personal exhibition of Alexander Kitaev "Incomprehensible Petersburg.

For the first time in Moscow, great attention is paid to the St. Petersburg photos, and first heard word about a special St. Petersburg school of art photography.
Properly noticed Natalya Grigoryeva, the center's director, in Moscow, and in Russia in general know little about photographers Petersburg, on the development of creative photography in our northern capital. But already it is clear that art photography in St. Petersburg and Moscow went along different paths. You can verify this by tracing the works of both Boris Smelov Chezhina Andrew and Alexander Kitaev, as well as many other photographers.
Art critic Dmitry Severyukhina noted special lyricism in the work of Kitaev. In his work he focuses on the line and contour. These photos can not be found on the calendar with views of St. Petersburg is another view of the city. In this feature Severyukhina sees Petersburg school of photography.

Or at least one of the two favorites, along with Smelova.
