December 11, 2010 at the Regional Center for Visual Arts hosts anniversary exhibition of the painter Valery G. Kokurina - the brightest representatives of the Vladimir school of landscape painting. The exhibition opened on the day of the 80th anniversary of the artist. Jubilee congratulated the representatives of the regional authorities , as well as creative organizations - Artists RF Vladimir Branch , Union of Theater Workers , the Union of Writers. The representatives of museums ( the Vladimir- Suzdal museum , Murom Museum) , collectors and friends of the artist . At the exhibition are small and medium -sized paintings, exhibited a large pictures, including those created in the 1970s - 1990s . Some works have been dated to 2010. In V.G.Kokurina speech , thanked the speakers for their warm greetings, noted the role of artists and Yukina Britova in becoming Vladimir school of landscape painting. The exhibition runs until January 9, 2011
