Academy of Fine Arts, the Institute of France in the Year of France, Russia 2010 is an exhibition of works by Jean Lyursa, one of the most significant figures of the period between the two world wars. The exhibition includes fourteen tapestries, over a dozen paintings, pottery and collectible editions of books written or illustrated by a master.

The works on display in the area of almost 400 m2, give an idea of the artist in the period from 1920 to 1960. During the exhibition will show the film of Patrick Casale "Solar Dream» (Le rêve ensoleillé), which tells about the life of Jean Lyursa.

The works were bequeathed to the Academy of Fine Arts, the artist's widow Simone Lyursa. In a short time to the number of funds in the Fund will join the Academy of Jean and Simone Lyursa, located in the Paris studio of the artist, bequeathed to the Academy.
