Painting by Claude Monet "Dans La Prairie" ( "In the meadow") on February 4 was sold at Christie's auction in London for 11.2 million pounds sterling (about 16,2 million U.S. dollars). Prior to bidding the work of Monet, established in 1876, was estimated at 15 million pounds (about $ 22 million).
