2 Pectoral cross "In memory of the war of 1853-1856."

    Cross awarded to all the Russian Orthodox clergy (from metropolitans to priests). Regulations Committee of Ministers, approved by the Emperor November 27, 1856, the right to award the cross was heterodox Christian clergy. Figure approved by the Emperor June 21, 1856 Making crosses the St. Petersburg Mint continued until 1860. Total minted approximately 40 000 of them for heterodox clergy 4468 crosses.
     LS Four-point cross with expanded ends, in the middle of the cross, in a blaze of light, the front side of the coin to commemorate the war of 1853-1856. - United monogram of Nicholas I and Alexander II under the imperial crown. At the top of "seeing eye" with the outgoing rays. Below, under date of initials: "1853-1854-1855-1856".

     Size: Length - 100 mm, width - 60 mm. Crosses were made of dark bronze. Worn around the neck on the ribbon of the Order of St.. Vladimir
